Newburg CPA Charitable Initiatives Community Outreach

While Newburg CPA has had a charitable focus since our inception in 1984, our mission has only grown stronger over the years. Here are some examples of how we are meeting our goal of giving back to the community and those in need continues:

Cradles to Crayons

With more than 277,000 children (12 years and younger) living in low-income or homeless situations in Massachusetts, we are proud to have been partnering with Cradles to Crayons through their CPA Day program for many years. As part of the program, staff members volunteer several hours of the day to help sort and ready donated items at their facility for distribution to families in need.

Thanksgiving Food Drive

Working through a partnership with Charles River Health in Brighton and the Katsiroubas Produce Company, the firm collects non-perishable food and toiletry donations from the staff and combines them with Katsiroubas produces boxes, purchased by the firm for donation to families in need in the surrounding communities. Members of the staff also enjoy helping to distribute the items at the Charles River Health facility.

Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce

Through the GBCC, the firm provides pro-bono consulting to local small businesses, impacted by COVID-19. The process is run through the GBCC’s Small Business Strong initiative.

Virtual Walk for Charity

A fun challenge where the staff, family, friends and colleagues are invited to form virtual walking teams for some healthy competition and to raise money for deserving charities.
