Primary Focus & Experience
Mike brings over 17 years of public accounting experience to the team. Prior to joining Newburg CPA in 2013, Mike spent ten years at a regional public accounting firm in Vermont where he provided audit, advisory and tax services to financial institutions, commercial entities and not for profit organizations. Today, Mike serves as the Newburg CPA’s audit and assurance partner leading the firm’s accounting and assurance practice. Mike’s responsibilities include maintaining the firm’s quality control policies, solving client’s technical accounting matters and acting as the engagement partner for commercial and not for profit engagements. Mike actively participates in many industry groups through the firm’s BDO Alliance and is involved in the firm’s management advisory, litigation support and valuation practices working closely with business owners, attorney’s and advisors in various capacities.
