Primary Focus & Experience

Chris began his career with Newburg, heading up the business development and marketing departments back in 2018. Chris is responsible for the entire client engagement experience from prospect through onboarding. He also leads the firm’s marketing and community relations initiatives by developing, implementing and monitoring programs to generate firm awareness and promotion.

Prior to his role at Newburg, Chris spent most of the decade managing both national and regional territories for J.P. Morgan’s commerce solutions arm, Xerox Corporation and a regional wholesale distributor of hi-end kitchen and bath products. These roles saw him manage some of the largest national relationships across the country by analyzing and presenting processing efficiencies within the clients’ card processing areas. He also managed over the Northern New England territory, calling on print-for-pay, commercial, quick and franchise and in-plant printers. Chris was responsible for Xerox’s light-mid production color, and production color and monochrome presses. He also called on 400+ independent and franchise kitchen and bath retailers and plumbing showrooms across Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and the North shore of Massachusetts; representing 30+ lines of hi-end plumbing fixtures. Chris was the winner of several sales contests throughout his sales career.

Chris spent the prior decade working for John Hancock in varying capacities within the Olympic and Event Marketing, Field Marketing and Life and Long-term Care Product Marketing areas. Chris was the winner of several special awards for project work and service, as nominated by his peers.

Chris also founded and runs Fall Line Marketing, a Marketing Strategy Consulting firm, in his spare time.

Chris is a lifelong, avid skier and spends most of the weekends in the winter at the ski club he belongs to, where he currently serves as Vice President. He also enjoys cycling, hiking and adventure motorcycle riding when not at work. Chris also enjoys cooking and spending as much time camping and in the great outdoors as possible. His goal is to explore the entire North American continent by van and ski and ride as much of it along the way as possible.
